Across the Sun invokes a metaphysical journey. Four adopted young adults flee an invasion and are magically displaced into a parallel world where they unknowingly disrupt a violent slave trade. 

One day, the siblings’ lives are upended  when hobgoblins attack them. To protect their children, dwarves Saba and Gorram use arcana, and they all flee to a parallel world. Arriving in this new world alone, the siblings journey to find shelter and their missing parents. Lost in a dangerous wilderness, they rescue an enslaved tikus woman, unknowingly becoming targets of a cruel slave trader's revenge.

Across the Sun is filled with adventure and exploration, and it displays underrepresented people in fantastic ways, celebrating their diversity. It’s a story with a lot of heart and a happy ending; about siblings sticking together no matter what. It is intended to become part of a saga.
