This book is a prequel to an upcoming saga that has yet to be released. This prequel takes places in the early days of an alien invasion, following protagonist Beverly Norway from the chaotic street of New York City all the way to one of the most highly secured penitentiaries in the world.
Imagine living a life of routine; day in and day out you do the same thing, walking the same pattern, and all is normal always. Not very hard to picture that, now is it? How about imagining that one evening you wake up in the middle of the night to your television set instructing you to evacuate your home city, and that the neighbor whom you never spoken to is pounding on your door and he's covered in blood. When he tells you to climb out your fire escape, do you listen to him or just laugh? How about when an actual alien breaks through your apartment door, bringing your nightmares to life?
That was how Beverly's Tuesday evening went, the night when the world was invaded by aliens after an interdimensional portal was mistakenly opened by an estranged scientist dabbling with the idea of human teleportation.
If you are interested in action and adventure, the book will keep you on your toes from beginning to end as you follow Beverly's tale through her first days (or months?) of the apocalypse, alongside other companions she meets and partners up with on the way. However, if the military cannot defeat the aliens overcoming planet earth, how can she possibly stop these otherworldly invaders from destroying her home?
