The Charcoal Planet (Pneu-Vi-Ere Chronicles Book #1)

 Book Cover

This mature science-fantasy tale portrays the story of a slave on a massive planet whose inhabitants are primarily grey-skinned. The protagonist discovers that her churlish owner has vile intentions in store for her and with this knowledge she seizes the motivation to not let herself be thrown into a deeper abyss of her oppressor's making. She also realizes that she doesn't know who she is or where she's from, and as long as she's a slave that reality won't change. Working alone has made the young slave woman self-reliant but certainly not happier, and yet one could imagine trust is an expensive luxury to any person of maltreatment. This is a humble origin story of one of the most important mortal figures in the history of planet "K'Ligia," the Charcoal Planet.
